In this course you will write authentic stories from your life. Thanks to creative exercises which bring memories to the surface or offer new insights into your life story. Afterwards, we share and read our texts to each other, often leading to moments of recognition.

You are welcome to write in English, Dutch or your native language. During the sessions we communicate in both English and Dutch, offering you the opportunity to practice your Dutch if desired. Writing experience is not necessary, the joy of writing is the most important thing. There is attention for everyone, creating a safe environment.

Een schrijfreis door je leven
Een schrijfcursus voor internationals door schrijfcoach Carolijn van Gorkum

In deze cursus schrijf je authentieke verhalen uit je leven. Dat komt door creatieve oefeningen die herinneringen naar boven halen of nieuwe inzichten bieden in je levensverhaal. We lezen elkaar onze teksten voor, dat geeft vaak veel herkenning.

Je bent welkom om in het Engels, Nederlands of je moedertaal te schrijven. Tijdens de cursus praten we zowel Engels als Nederlands en krijg je de mogelijkheid om je Nederlands te oefenen als je wilt. Schrijfervaring is niet nodig, het plezier in schrijven is het belangrijkste. Er is aandacht voor iedereen door de veilige sfeer.
